Goals
Continuous Goals
- Lost excess fat and convert to lean muscle
- Improve stride/gait
- Increase the speed of training and race pace
- Build core strength and stability
Short Term Goals
Sub-20 in a 5k run(3 miles in 18:40 on July 9, 2014)- Sub-20min in a 5k race
Sub-6 minute mile(Mile repeats on Sept. 3, 2014 – 5:54, 5:59, 5:52)
Long Term Goals
- Run a sub-3 hour marathon
- Place in a competitive/large city marathon
- Win a competitive/large city marathon
- Become nationally/internationally competitive
- Obtain a sponsorship
- Run an ultra-marathon
- Run a marathon overseas
- Set the overall TN State record for the marathon (<2:48:46)
- Set TN State marathon records for future age groups (28+)
- Qualify for the Olympic Trials (2016/2020) — goal time = <2:37:00 for the “A” group
Accomplishments
- TN State Record Holder as 27-year-old female marathoner (3:09:39.2)
